Wayne Leroy Shirk

Wayne Leroy Shirk Jr., age 73 of Festus, Missouri, passed away on October 04, 2020, in Festus. He was born on May 22, 1947, in Kansas City, Missouri. Wayne and his wife Janet were married in Festus, on January 01, 2001. He was a longtime firefighter for several departments and a Fire Inspector for the Missouri Division of Fire Safety. Wayne was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran and severed during Vietnam. He was a member of Bethel Church Festus, VFW 3777 Festus, and Jefferson County Amateur Radio Club. Wayne was a talented artist and enjoyed traveling, RVing, camping, fishing, and his grandkids.

Cousin-Timmy Coppenbarger, of Bolivar, Missouri

Sister in-law-Sherry (David) Pasco, of Cottonwood California

His Grandchildren-Dagny, Levin, Moira, Lanson, Ethan, Dakota, and Spence.

Great Grandchildren-Hana, Angel, Bella, and Brysen.

Visitation-Thursday, October 08, 2020, from 5 to 7 pm at Bethel Church 1233 American Legion Dr.
Festus, Missouri 63028

Funeral Service-Friday, October 09, 2020, at 9 am at Bethel Church.

Interment- Jefferson Barrack’s National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri.

Memorials to The Wounded Warrior Project or the Salvation Army, would be appreciated by the family.
