Viola Grace Schmitt, 97, Webster Groves

Viola Schmitt, 97, formally of Herculaneum died Dec. 9, 2022 at Laclede Groves retirement facility in Webster Groves. She worked many years in the home, small ammunitions plant in St Louis, gas company, and then the pinnacle thrill was her 46 years sales for Avon. A life long member at Zion Lutheran of Pevely. She loved her immediate and extended family above all. Also enjoyed gardening, traveling, playing pinocle, and visits with her friends.

Born July 22, 1925, in Fenton MO, the daughter of the late Laura and Frank Brouk. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Schmitt, a son Roger Miller, a granddaughter Sallie Miller, and brothers: Burnell, Millard, Robert, and infant Vernon Brouk. She is survived by a daughter Jan Schmitt (Connor) and son Jerry Miller.

Her earthly presence will be enduringly missed. We know she is in her desired heavenly home enjoying a beautiful spring like never before!

A memorial service will held at Zion Lutheran Church in Pevely, on April 15th at 10:00am with interment at Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart, MO.

Or, find a way to support a care giver's network of your preference since they do amazing work under challenging circumstances which results in a blessing beyond words or measure.
