Mrs. Sondra Elizabeth Butler

Age 83, formerly of Hillsboro, Missouri, quietly passed away at her home in Irving, Texas on July 11, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born on June 30, 1939, in DeSoto, Missouri, but she spent most of her childhood on the family farm outside Hillsboro.

Sondra married the love of her life, Patrick Butler, on December 30, 1994. She had three children, Brad Eslick of Thousand Oaks, California, Taylor Eslick of Kings Beach, California, and Elizabeth Nash of Lewisville, Texas.

At age 55, Sondra achieved her dream by graduating from Kansas City Art Institute after pursuing her studies for many years. She showed a determined spirit and continued to work on her studies despite many adversities, never giving up. In her spare time, she loved to travel, having taken more than 100 trips with Patrick. She enjoyed researching her family tree and even visited several of her ancestor's homes in Europe.

Sondra is survived by her husband, children, her brother John Sapper of Hillsboro, and her three grandchildren, James, Anderson, and Thomas Nash; as well has her nephews, John, Roger, and Terry Sapper.

She is preceded in death by father, George Sapper; mother, Alberta Sapper; and her brother, Kernan Sapper.

Memorial Visitation: Saturday, August 13th, 2022 10:00 am to 11:00 am
