Robert Andrew "Shady" Lane

Robert Andrew “Shady” Lane, 92 of Herculaneum Mo., passed away on June 13, 2017,

in Cuba, Mo. He was born in Patterson, Mo, on February 21, 1925.  He was a WW II Army Veteran and a longtime McDonnell Douglas employee. An avid gardener also loved to write music and play his guitar.

Wife - Arletea Douglas (nee Hamby) of Herculaneum, Mo.

Daughter- Cathy Riggs of Cuba, Mo.

Daughter- Pat (Jake) Taylor of Hillsboro, Mo.

Son- Alan (Alisha) Lane of Cuba, Mo.

Grandchildren-

Kris Riggs of Cuba, Mo

Cory Lane of Santa Monica, Ca

Maria Lane of Destin, Fl

Jacob Taylor of Hillsboro, Mo

Also survived by his step children Susie, Cookie, and Elery as well as, several nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by:

Parents- William Henry and Delphia Louella Lane (nee Hughes)

Wife- Billie Jewel Lane (nee Dees)

Brothers- Marvin and Earl Lane

Sister- Myrtle Robinson

Visitation will be held Friday, June 16, 2017, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home Hillsboro, Mo.

Funeral will follow the Visitation Friday June 16, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro, Mo
