Robert Preston Powell Sr.

ROBERT PRESTON POWELL SR. 62 of Joplin Mo, formerly of Hillsboro Mo. passed away on 8/25, 2018 in Joplin Mo. Born August 23, 1956 in St. Louis, he worked as a substance abuse counselor at “The H.O.U.S.E. Inc.” helping veterans and all recovering addicts, he was a US Army veteran.

Son: Christopher Allen (Lucy Stringer) Powell of Hillsboro.

Grandchildren- Anthony, Ashlynn and Robert D.

Sister- Debra (Larry) Steele of Dupo IL

Brother- Don (Angel) Moore of Barnett Mo.

Son- Robert P. Powell Jr.

Father- John R. Powell

Mother- Cynthia E. Powell-Moore (nee Phillips)

Brother- John T. Powell

Interment service with full military honors Friday September 21, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Family and friends are invited to assemble at the Sylvan Springs Park at the Ordnance Shelter across from Jefferson BarracksNational Cemetery just prior to the service. Funeral home will come to cemetery and we will process to the cemetery together.
