Richard Wayne Huskey 76, of St. Louis Missouri, Formerly of Hillsboro Missouri.

Passed away on September 19, 2020. At John Cochran Veterans Hospital in St. Louis Missouri.

 

Richard Graduated from Roosevelt High School in St. Louis in 1963, then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force

attaining rank of sergeant and serving in Vietnam. He was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service.

 

Survived by:

 

Daughter- Katrina Huskey-Edwards of St. Louis Missouri.

Son- Richard Andrew “Drew” (Qian Yang) Huskey of St. Louis County Missouri.

Grandchildren- Cameron, Zoe, Maxwell, Thaddeus, and Weston.

Brother- Vernon Huskey of Indiana.

Sister- Mary Lou Pashia of De Soto Missouri.

Richard passed away in the arms of his longtime companion- Robin Hurlburt

Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

 

Preceded in death by:

 

Father- Vernon F. Huskey

Mother- Loretta L Huskey (nee Umphenour)

Brothers- Stanley and Frank Huskey

Sister- Pat Fields

 

Memorial Gathering: Tuesday September 29, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home Inc. 103 Fourth Street, Hillsboro Missouri 63050.

 

Memorial Service: Tuesday September 29, 2020 at 7:00 PM in the Funeral Home Chapel.

 

Interment: with Full Military Honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Wednesday

September 30, 2020 at 11:30 AM (meet across the road from the cemetery at Sylvan Springs Park

no later than 11:15 AM). We will process to cemetery together.
