Paul S. Chervenak "Cherv"

Age 69 of Hillsboro Missouri, passed away on September 30th, 2022, in Saint Louis, Missouri. Born in Bonne Terre, Missouri on November 26, 1952. Paul was raised in Desloge area and graduated from North County High School in 1970. He attended Mineral Area College, and Southeast Missouri State University where he obtained his Teaching certificate in Industrial Arts. and later his Master's in industrial arts.

He married Gerri Kiefer on June 19, 1976, in St. Louis, Missouri.

He began his teaching career in Ferguson Florissant School district at Berkley as a Junior High Shop Teacher. He came to Hillsboro R-3 School in 1979 as Junior High Shop Teacher, and in 1989 he became the Director of Buildings and grounds and remained in that position until he retired in 2004. Paul was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hillsboro, Missouri, the Hillsboro Community Civic Club, and the Missouri State Teachers Association. He gave freely of his time to his community. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to fish and hunt.

Wife-Geraleen A Chervenak (nee Kiefer) of Hillsboro, Missouri.

Daughter-Lori M. Chervenak of West Monroe, Louisiana.

Son-Kenneth A. Chervenak of Fenton, Missouri.

Brother- John P. (Vicki) Chervenak of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Brother- Joseph A. (Marcella) Chervenak of Park Hills, Missouri.

Sister- Mary K (Doug) Gunder of Desloge, Missouri.

Our dear Nephew, Uncle, Great Uncle, Cousin and Friend to many.

Memorial Gathering will be held Friday, October 7th from 4 to 7 pm at Robert D Brown Funeral Home Inc. 103 Fourth Street. Hillsboro MO 63050.

Memorial Service follows at 7 pm.
