Hillsboro High School. Matthew and his wife Sarah were married on August 13, 2003, In Fredericktown Mo.

Matthew is survived by his wife- Sarah M. Darby (nee Declue) of Bonne Terre Mo, two sons Luke and Jesse Darby, of Bonne Terre Mo. Mother- Karen (Step father- Gary) Bequette of DeSoto Mo, Father-Gary (Stepmother- Sharon) Darby of Imperial Mo, Sister- Kaylenn Darby of DeSoto Mo, brother –Jay (Tina) Mason of Fenton Mo,
Grandparents- Gary and Alice Darby (nee Welker) of Hillsboro Mo. stepsister Cheryl (Paul) Bolen, of De Soto Mo. Stepsister Dawn (Trey) Bequette of De Soto Mo
