Born August 9, 1928, in Belleview, MO to parents

Alfred Horton who passed in 1971 and Rose

Horton (nee Lester) who passed in 1992.

Mary Jane was retired from Hillsboro R-3

Schools after a 30-plus-year career as a

Secretary for the Superintendent and Board.

She was a longtime resident of Hillsboro, a

member of First Baptist Church of Hillsboro

and enjoyed volunteering at church and

helping her friends and neighbors.

Son- Dennis (Beth-Vreeland) Russell of Festus, Missouri

Granddaughter-Amy D. (Marcus) Long of Kansas City, Missouri

Great Grandchildren-Leila and Jackson

Sister- Martha Ann Berry of Louisville, Kentucky

Grandson- Daniel K. Russell who passed in 2011

Sister- Jewell Horton who passed in 1998

Brother- Roy L. Horton who passed in 2008

Visitation: Thursday, July 07, 2022, from 4 to 6 pm at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.

Funeral: Thursday, July 07, 2022, at 6 pm in the funeral home chapel.

Interment: Friday, July 08, 2022, at 11 am at Rayfield Cemetery, Reynolds County Missouri
