Margaret L. Becker (nee Cox), 81 of Festus Mo, passed away on January 5, 2015, in Crestwood Ky. Born August 22, 1933, in Pilot Knob, Mo. She married her husband Gerald B. Becker on Nov, 8 1953. Margaret was one of the first female union reps for the garment workers industry in this area; she represented workers from Co Ed Garment in Festus, Mo, where she was also employed. She also organized the ladies at the garment factory to send care packages to troops in Vietnam. Along with her husband, she co owned and worked at E and B Electronics in Festus. She operated Margaret''s Ceramics and Dolls, also worked at C.J. Banks and Peebles Department stores. She was a member of The O.E.S. Order of Eastern Star and was a member of the Shekinah and Pomegranate chapters, She was Past Worthy Matron multiple times and served as Grand Chapter Representative to Saskatchewan. She was an avid camper, seamstress, artist, decorator, and cook.

Visitation " Friday January 9, 2015 from 4:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St. Hillsboro MO 63050.

Saturday January 10, 2015 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Highland Baptist Church, 5030 Highland Baptist Church Rd.

Funeral- Saturday January 10, 2015, 11:00 AM at Highland Baptist Church, 5030 Highland Baptist Church Rd. Hillsboro Mo 63050. The Rev. Keith Perren will officiate.

Interment will follow at Hillsboro Cemetery. Memorials to Mercy Jefferson Hospice or the Arthritis Foundation would be appreciated.
