Madelene Leta Pettibone

Madelene Leta Pettibone (nee Burgio), of Hillsboro, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020, at her home. She was born April 08, 1947, in St. Louis. She was the daughter of the late Joseph M. Burgio Sr., the late Leta H. Burgio Nee (Fuller) and the late Eleanor Burgio (nee Fennewald). She was the beloved wife of David Pettibone Sr. Madelene was a teacher and earned her Bachelors of Elementary Education from Webster University. She taught at St. John’s Catholic in Arnold, Our Lady Queen of Peace in Housesprings, and retired from Murphy Elementary. She was a long-time member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus # 6401 Auxillary. She loved to care for her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren.

Interment-Good Shepherd Cemetery, Hillsboro, Missouri.
