Louis Vernon “Vern” Puryear, age 73 of Hillsboro, Missouri, passed away on July 26, 2018 in St. Louis. He was born March 04, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri. Vern was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1962 to 1971. He retired as a Federal Police Captain for the USPS Midwest Division after 28 years. He was a very generous man with a big heart who gave to numerous charities. He was an avid fisherman, storyteller and proud Grandfather and Great Grandfather.

Kody Ward, Kacy (Morgan) Ward, Ben (Alicia) Robinson, Tucker (Lindsay) Robinson, JD Dunnigan, Braylee Dunnigan, Brad Puryear, Scott (Laura) Land, Julia Land, and Isabella Land.
Great Grandchildren:
Brock, Remi, and Rileigh.

Funeral: Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at 11am in the funeral home chapel.
Interment: Belew’s Creek Cemetery, Hillsboro, Missouri
