Kathryn Leona Rawson

Age 80, most recently residing in Hillsboro, Missouri, passed away on July 22, 2022 at Mercy Jefferson in Festus, MO. Born July 5, 1942 in Topeka, KS to parents Melvin Rice and Evelyn Rice. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse Thomas C. Rawson. Kathryn had worked as a Registered Nurse at Jefferson Memorial Hospital for 40 years before her retirement.

She is survived by:

Son- Thomas "Chip" (Kimberly Zoph) Rawson, of Hillsboro, MO

Daughters- Julie (Jeff) Peters, of Festus, MO, Lisa Cashion of Hillsboro, MO

Sister- Virginia "Ginny" (Mike) McCraken, of Frisco, CO

Brother- Melvin "Bud" (Muncha) Rice, of Huntington Beach, CA

8 grandchildren: Jillian Pallo, Jordan Peters, Jay Peters, Todd Peters, Kendall Rawson, Thomas "Carter" Rawson, Daniel "DJ" Cashion, and Megan Cashion

6 great-grandchildren: Isla Pallo, Jack Pallo, Kevin Peters, Henry Peters, Ella Peters, and Adley Worley

Memorial services : Saturday, August 6, 2022 10:00 AM -12:00 pm with a brief service immediately following at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home Inc, Hillsboro, MO 63050
