Joan Ann Gravagna Burleson (nee Amlong) age,87, of Hillsboro, Missouri. passed away on October 9, 2020, In Herculaneum Missouri. She was born on October 29, 1932, in St. Louis Missouri. She attended Rosati Kain School and later Depaul school of nursing. She retired from Hillsboro R-3 Schools after 22 years of service.
A longtime member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Hillsboro and the Knights of Columbus # 6401 Auxiliary, she gave freely of her time to both. The family was most important to Joan and she cherished her children, grandchildren, and all her family.

Daughter- Anna Marie (Jim Lammert) Curran of Oakville Missouri.
Daughter- Paula G (Gary) Schweitzer of Hillsboro Missouri.
Daughter-Patricia J (Tim) Steinbach of Hillsboro Missouri.
Daughter- Mary Ellen (Alan) Caine of Hillsboro Missouri.
Son- Paul John Gravagna Jr. of Hillsboro Missouri.
Stepdaughter- Jeannie Bryant of DeSoto Missouri.
Grandchildren- Paul, Nick, Matt, Keith, Lori, Gina, Mike, Tim, Katie, Brad, Jeff, Stephanie, David,
Andrea, Maggie, Wednesday, Jamie, Jill, James, and Billy.
Great Grandchildren- Lilli, Ashley, Ally, Mason, Ryan, Logan, Danielle, Maddie, Alex, Preston, Arianna,
Addy, Savannah, Emma, Henry, Claire, Axle, Gavin, Blaine, Gunner, Lilly, Demi, Cael, Asher,
and Parker.

Visitation- Monday, October 12, 2020, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the Robert D. Brown Funeral Home Inc. 103 Fourth Street, Hillsboro Missouri 63050. The family has requested those attending visitations to please wear a face mask.
Funeral Mass - Tuesday, October 13, 2020, 11:00 am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church,703 Third Street, Hillsboro Missouri. (note: Prayers at the Funeral Home prior to mass at 10:30 am).
Good Shepherd Catholic Church requires all those attending to wear a face mask.
Interment: Follows Mass at Good Shepherd Catholic Cemetery, Hillsboro Missouri.
Masses in her memory at Good Shepherd Church or donations to Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
