Jesse Lee Nottingham, 58, of Crystal City died Nov. 6, 2017, at Barnes-Jewish hospital in St. Louis. Mr, Nottingham was a painter and owned JN Painting. He was a member of the Sons of Amvets Post 42 in Herculaneum and of American Legion Post 253 in Festus. He had a passion for dirt track racing and enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandsons and extended family. Born Feb. 15, 1959, in De Soto, he was the son of Shirley Nottingham of Pevely and the late Jesse Lee Nottingham Sr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his girlfriend of 32 years: Renee Patterson of Crystal City; a son: Chase Patterson; two grandchildren: Dakota Patterson and Brody Patterson; a brother: John (Sheila) Nottingham of De Soto; three sisters: Jessica (Terry) NcGrael of Crystal City, Janet Bennett of Festus and Jane (Steve DeClue) Nottingham of Bloomsdale; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is scheduled for 4 p.m. and a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Amvets Post 42. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
