Imogene "Jean" L James

Imogene L. "Jean" James (nee Gillman), 83 of House Springs, Missouri, passed away in De Soto on October 7, 2020. She was born August 19, 1937, in De Soto. She was the daughter of the late Richard C. Gillman and the late Lucille A. Gillman (nee Huskey). A member of Jefferson Heights Baptist Church and a former member of Highland Baptist Church. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and Rodeo fan. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She married her husband Charles, Dec 9, 1954, in Kennett Missouri.

Husband- Charles J. James of House Springs, Missouri

Daughter- Chyren L. (Darren) Fee of High Ridge, Missouri.

Daughter- Barb J. James of De Soto, Missouri.

Son- Michael C. (Becky) James of Cedar Hill, Missouri.

Grandchildren- Amie, Amber (Husband- Lucas), Ronnie, Breanna, Gus, and Reese.

Great Grandchildren- Ethan, Billie, and William.

Brother- Beril (Linda) Gillman of Ramsey, Illinois.

Sister- Glenda (Ron) Christakos of Pevely, Missouri.

Sister- Joyce Anderson of Michigan.

Sister- Sandra Dorner of Lemay, Missouri.

Brother in law- Harold Kellerman of Hillsboro, Missouri.

Preceded in death by:

Parents- Richard C. and Lucille A. Gillman (nee Huskey).

Son- Steven C. James.

Brothers- Wayne, Rich, and Terry Gillman.

Sisters- Brenda Phillips and Gail Kellerman.

Visitation: Sunday, October 11, 2020, from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Robert D. Brown

Funeral Home Inc. 103 Fourth Street Hillsboro, Missouri. 63050. The family requests that attendees wear a mask, please.

Funeral: Monday, October 12, 2020, at 11:00 am. In the funeral home chapel. The family requests that attendees wear a mask, please. 

Interment: Follows funeral service and will be at Peaceful Meadows Cemetery, Jarvis Rd. Hillsboro, Missouri. Family
