Herma Retta (nee Watkins) Nahlik, 64, of High Ridge, Missouri, passed away on August 8, 2020, at her home. She was born on September 5, 1955, in St. Louis. Retta was an Administrative Assistant at Affton High School. She was previously employed by St. Louis Community College at Meramec and by St. John’s Catholic Church where she was also a member. Retta enjoyed gardening, quilting, cooking for her family, and cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events and performances. She was preceded in death by her father, Herman Watkins, and her mother, Frankie Mae (nee Roscoe) Hollett.
Retta is survived by her husband, Victor “Vic” Nahlik, of High Ridge, Missouri, her children, Victor M. (Jessica Meador) Nahlik, House Springs, Missouri, Jerri (Mark) Meppiel, Festus, Missouri, Cheri (Don Feltmann) Nahlik, Pevely, Missouri, Cindi (Shannon) Nelson, Barnhart, Missouri, and Matthew (Kate) Nahlik, of Pevely, Missouri. Her grandchildren, Cecilia, Vincent, Evan, Gavin, Mason, Lucas, and Lucy will miss their “Regular” and “Good” Grandma. Retta is also survived by her brother, Ron (Connie) Watkins of Batesville, AR and two sisters, Martha Wren and Kathy (Steve) Spinner, of Moline Illinois, and many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
