Gerald Hurtgen

Gerald "Jerry" Lynn Hurtgen, age 70, was called home to the Lord on Saturday,December 10, 2022. He was born on February 16, 1952, in Hillsboro, MO. He married the love of his life, wife Linda (Reed) of Hillsboro, MO on July 17, 1971. They were blessed with 51 years together and 2 children. Gerald was retired Grocer for Queens Markets and was very active with the ministries of First Baptist Church Hillsboro Mo, where he served as a Deacon.

He is survived by his children, Stacy Jackson, (Chad Jackson), of Hillsboro and Brian Hurtgen, of Liberty, Mo. He is loved by his 4 grandchildren Tyler Jackson, Brendon Jackson, Blake Jackson all of Hillsboro and Telly Hurtgen of Liberty, Mo. Gerald is also survived by his Sister Edith "Lucille" Hurtgen,of Desoto Mo and Brother Richard (Janet) Hurtgen of Chillicothe MO. He is also survived by 2 Nieces and 6 Nephews

He is preceded in death by father, Herbert Hurtgen; mother, Edna Hurtgen, Brother Harold Hurtgen and Donald Hurtgen.

Visitation: Monday, December 19, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm at First Baptist Church Hillsboro,Mo.

Visitation: Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 10 to 11 am at First Baptist Church Hillsboro,Mo.

Funeral: Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 11 am at First Baptist Church Hillsboro, Mo.

Interment: Hillsboro Cemetery, Hillsboro, Mo.
