Genevieve "Pa Pa" Agnes McRae
Age 79, of Hillsboro, Missouri, passed away on November 6, 2022 at SSM Health Saint Clare Hospital in Fenton, MO. Born December 7, 1942 in Desoto, MO to her late parents Louis Reando and Mary Reando. On March 7, 1964 she married her sweetheart Kenneth McRae in DeSoto. Genevieve worked at Before & After Care at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, and also assisted with Bingo and picnics at the Chruch. When she and her husband Kenneth moved to the family farm in 1974 she wasn't sure she'd would like it so much. However, it came to be one of the things she loved the most. Genevieve was somewhat quirky if you knew her; while traveling out west with her family, she would mistakenly take the huge round haybales for buffalo. She greatly enjoyed training and showing German Shepherd dogs and was in the German Shepherd dog club. Amongst the many things she liked to do she also bowled, created ceramics, loved camping and playing cards. It is certain that everyone will remember her as being notorious for accidentally giving out used gift cards.
