Douglas Michael Kaido, age 50, of Hillsboro, Missouri, Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, on September 08, 2018, at St Anthony’s Medical Center, where with the help of wonderful Doctors, Nurses and Sitters he fought to recover and to be able to enjoy life again.
Doug was born June 22, 1968, in St. Louis, he was the beloved Son of Arthur John “Buz” and Mary Frederick Kaido, loving brother of John Kaido. Dear grandson of the late John and Marcelle Kaido and Harold and Catherine Frederick. Dear uncle, nephew, cousin and friend to many.
He loved to ride his bike, collect aluminum cans, visit neighbors, keeping the road he adopted clean and, on his birthday, going to Six Flags with his best friend Rob Meinz.
Special thanks to Bill Knittig who for 28 years helped Doug to have a good life.
Doug was a transplant donor through Mid American Transplant.
Memorial Gathering: September 22, 2018, from 2pm to 4 pm at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home Inc., 103 4th Street, Hillsboro, Missouri, 63050.
Memorial Service: A brief memorial service will follow the gathering, in the funeral home chapel at 4pm.
