Darrell Wayne Halcomb

Age 51, most recently residing in Fredericktown, Missouri, passed away on August 25, 2022 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO. Born January 3, 1971 in St. Louis, MO to his late father Robert Halcomb and Joan Kelley of Fredericktown, Missouri. Before he became disabled, Darrell worked as a mechanic at Plaza Tire.

Three words that best describes Darrell is Informative: he was always looking up information about everything. Naturalist: His love of nature and animals. Caring: The love he shared with his family and especially taking care of his mother.

A few of his favorite things to do where taking care of his cats and pet fish, coloring, playing video games, watching TV, and scrolling on Facebook. Darrell loved the great outdoors, and fishing and hunting with his brother.

Darrell may have said - Life is too short to hesitate. Live for the moment take care of yourself and the ones you love. He lost a battle against cancer, but was a fighter the whole time through his cancer wars.

Darrell is survived by Joan Kelley - mother, Lynn Knox - sister and her husband Rusty Knox, Robert Halcomb - brother, Nicole ODoniel - niece and her husband Mitchall ODoniel, Kevin Knox - nephew and his  fiancée Kiley Stockton, Keith Knox - nephew, Mike Reilly and his wife Sasha Reilly.

Darrell is preceded in death by Robert Halcomb - father, George Kelley - step-father,  Constance Halcomb  - sister-in-law
