Robert D. Brown

Bob started working at Lemme Funeral Home in Festus, Missouri in 1977 while still in High School. After Graduating from Festus High School in 1980, he accepted a position with Kriegshauser Mortuary in St. Louis, Missouri.  Bob worked there for several years until accepting the night Manager/ Funeral Director job at John L. Ziegenhein and Sons in St Louis, Missouri.  He married Kimberly Krodinger in 1988.  Bob and Kim have three children Cassidy, Kaleb and Maggie.  Together they opened Brown Funeral Home in 1992.  Bob is a Past President of the Hillsboro Community Civic Club, a member of the Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce, the Hillsboro Rotary Club, Good Shepherd Catholic Church and the Hillsboro Knights of Columbus Council # 6401.  He is also a long time Board Member of the Hillsboro Fire Protection District.  Bob is an avid outdoorsman, and enjoys fishing the rivers close to home, hunting upland birds, deer and turkey.

Gary is an alumni of De Soto High School, class of 1990.  He is a former volunteer Firefighter/EMT and 911 dispatcher. Gary and his wife Uriel live in Hillsboro, Missouri. They have three children Cody, Courtney and Cari.  Gary is a licensed Funeral Director and Manager with over 10 years of experience working in the funeral industry.  He is on the Board of Directors for the Hillsboro Special Road District, a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and a member of the Hillsboro Community Civic Club.

Matthew M. O'Neail

Apprentice Funeral Director
Matt was raised in Hillsboro.  He attended Hillsboro High School and Jefferson County Police Academy.   In 2001, Matt married Bambi Eye.  They have two beautiful children, Lance and Angelina.  Matt is working part-time as an Apprentice Funeral Director at our facility.  Matt is nearing the completion of his apprenticeship, and soon will be eligible to take the National Board and the Missouri Funeral Law exam.  He is also employed full time as an Investigator for the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.  Matt enjoys spending his off time being in the outdoors, among family and friends.  He is a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Desoto and Board Member of the Hillsboro Community Civic Club.  Matt also serves the community as a volunteer for the Jefferson County Emergency Response Team.
